Let’s simplify packing. I used to bring 4 smaller dry bags but now that I’ve consolidated everything into a duffel, loading the kayak is efficient. This duffel is my first choice for longer trips to keep gear protected and spend more time enjoying camp.

IMPORTANT NOTE - This duffel is airtight. If you gain altitude quickly, the air inside will expand causing inflation (lol, we have enough of that already). If you're traveling on an airplane be sure to unzip it slightly to allow for equalizing. For mountain passes you can occasionally unzip and re-zip as needed.

We’re driving back from our Missouri River trip and having the 60L duffel absolutely saved the day! I had two zippered/waterproof duffels and the “other brand” failed. The zipper wouldn’t zip and that won’t work.
From that point on, I used Remote Designs exclusively (instead of “in addition to”) for everything that needed absolute protection. I loved all the handle placements and the backpack straps were really handy, pre-load-in. I’m attaching a couple pics from the voyage. It was a truly remarkable product and I wanted to thank you again!
Took this bag 82 day 2200 miles on a Mississippi River source to sea thru paddle. Bag was great everything stayed dry and the bag held up great on the many long portages. Also took it on a 100 mile saltwater paddle again bag was great handled the saltwater well. This is a owner operator company who makes a good quality product that has been put to the test. Gatewood brown personally answers any questions and dose anything he can to keep your adventures going while your in the bush.I look forward using remote designs on my future adventures. Just returned from a 3 day kayak trip - trusted the 60L bag with my sleeping gear and clothes. Kept everything dry in paddling and the rain. Lashing straps outside were perfect for strapping in in, and backpack straps were great for hiking to camp from edge of the river.
